this issue is actually extremely incorrect - - saying that there was only a specific period of time where the Pharaohs were Black implies that they were something other than Black or African (most Egyptologist lie and say they were white even though its clear that they weren’t) . . the ancient Kemites (Egyptians) were AFRICAN with DARK SKIN! Kemet means land of the blacks. When the Kemites depicted themselves on different artwork and steele’, they purposely added dark pigment to themselves. there was not a an outside group of African people that came into ancient Kemet (Egypt) and conquered it, beginning a new reign of African Pharaohs. . they were already African. .
*As I was packing, i noticed that I still had this issue of NG. So of course, I had to reread the feature on the African Pharaohs. If you ever in your life run across this, I would definitely suggest reading it. I plan on researching more about ancient African Pharaohs, Queens, Kings, and any type of royalty.
