This is an accurate description of my definition of the term “thick”. 

There are so many words to talk about body types as they are upheld by a misogynist, objectifying, patriarchal society. Chubby. Thick. Motherly/mammy. Thin. Obese. Skinny. Full-figured. Plus size. Bigger. Shapely. Average-sized. Overweight.

I find it interesting that heterosexual thin-privileged women are oftentimes threatened by these body types because some men prefer them. It has everything to do with men’s preferences, which I hope people think twice about before they spew hatred about thick women and fat women.
